The early bird catches the worm, or in our case, the early group gets the best tour! We were fortunate enough to tour the European Parliament and understand where our little cog of historical research finds its place into the churning swathes of the EU construct. Next stop (after some errands) was the European Committee of the Regions. Here we began our first round of presentations looking at the CERV and Erasmus+ structure allowing us not only to look into the future but to take the first steps in continuing this vital and reformative work. 3rd on the agenda was lunch, swiftly chased by our exchange of results. Here we, still in these late stages, choose to focus on reflections and communication about our works to keep them evolving. Last but by no means least we concluded our Tour de EU with a fruitful, in conversation and in courses, dinner, accompanied by mayoral addresses ringing out the day in Brussels.
